Fresh cow’s milk is a natural source of vitamin D.

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – There are many benefits of milk for the body. One that is important in the middle pandemic Covid-19 is vitamin D to take care of immunity body.

“Fresh cow’s milk is also a natural source of vitamin D which is safe for consumption every day,” said nutritionist Emilia E Achmadi in an online press conference, Wednesday (23/9).

In the body, vitamin D can do many things, including strengthening bones, reducing inflammation, and helping immune function. Emilia explained that fresh cow’s milk is one of the best sources of nutrition that contains calcium for bone health, protein for building muscle, vitamins and minerals that can strengthen your immune system.

The natural fat content in milk is beneficial for the body. Emilia said, many people view fat as a content that is not good for the body. In fact, fat is an essential ingredient for the body and is needed to absorb vitamins, especially vitamins A and D.

New fat is dangerous if the portion is too much for the body. Emilia suggested, if you want to reduce the fat content in food, you don’t need to reduce milk consumption, but avoid snacks such as nuts and fried foods.

“We must be wise in choosing the foods that we will put into our bodies. Choose foods that are nutritious and have good ingredients for our bodies.”
