Audi is waking up from coronavirus restrictions and subscribing to innovations that should help companies stabilize the situation. I would have imagined a little different arrest, but I’m glad we’re working again, he said in a Vorsprung transmission arrest. Live the new Audi Markus Duesmann, who joined the carmaker at a time when she was most restricted due to coronavirus.
Its wheel will prepare the carmaker for a new future. Many colleagues are working hard to overcome this crisis, and this is optimistic about Duesmann. The priority is to support the character with super-emotional products and the petvoen of our portfolio, according to Audi. According to him, there is also room for a new convertible. Electric cars will play a very important role, and Audi wants to offer their offer. It also has two models: in the SUV e-tron and the e-tron Sportback derived from it.
In addition to the new weekly e-tron GTse, Audi will focus on a variety of electric SUVs. Last year, the Q4 e-tron concept was introduced this year, and Audi is preparing siblings for it this year, the new Q4 Sportback e-tron concept study will be based on a proven recipe, with two new SUV couples. This novelty should also be proven within a year, with a total of seven electric cars in the Audi range.
Both Q4 e-tron models stand on the MEB platform concern, which is designed for compact electric cars. The planned Q4 Sportback e-tron will be prepared by a clear sibling of the Enyaq code, its premieres should be achieved in the middle of this year, and its form was suggested by the study of the Vision E code (pionn photos here). Audi and Koda will thus have a concept and size-matched car on offer, which very often does not happen.
Of these, Audi will be a premium and dynamic model with at least the look and feel. It’s probably the sportiest SUV we’ve ever made, it’s the sportiest SUV ever, it melts over the exterior design of the Audi Mark Lichte design. And it draws attention especially to the design of the rear of the car with extremely muscular shaped fenders and very slowly falling lines of roofs.
The design of the concept goes so far that the rear window is divided by a spoiler, which is effective, but from the point of view of rear view it is not practical. Only the Q4 Sportback e-tron concept has come to afford me, and not just because it’s a study. Due to the existence of the bn body variant of the Q4 e-tron, I can easily sacrifice the practicality a bit and it will seem that the spoiler will remain in the series design.
We can expect that while the code of Enyaq will be a bit dull compared to the Vision E study, the implementation of the Q4 Sportback e-tron will be a very similar conceptual study. Dramatic changes compared to the study will probably not take place in the interior either, it is not nearly as futuristic as the concept of bv (and as it was for you with Vision E). Audi shows a practical bottom with a virtual cockpit in front of the idium and a large infotainment screen facing it. Within the framework, a dynamic concept of different horizontal lines is supported in the interior.
After the technical side, the Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron with the Enyaq code will be very close. The Audi study has a wheelbase of 2.77 meters (Enyaq song 2,765 mm), a total length of 4.6 meters (Enyaq 4.64). Audi promises the most powerful design with an output of 225 kW, that’s what the Enyaq RS offers. Accelerated from zero to 100 in 6.3 seconds and a top speed of 180 km / h are the values with which the Audi concept prepares the electric codec very bl. The Q4 Sportback e-tron promises a range of 450 kilometers in the WLTP cycle for the strongest bike and over 500 kilometers in the version with the strongest battery and rear-axle drive only.
These are the values for the variant with the largest battery with a nominal capacity of 82 kWh. Only in the case of the Serial version will we probably find out whether Audi will also offer a version with a smaller range and no battery capacity. The MEB platform has a variant with 55 and 62 kWh.
As far as the development of the electric car at Audi is concerned, the cars on the MEB platform and thus the Porsche platform will be shared with Porsche as just an arrest. Duesmann said in June that he was working on the so-called Artemis project, which aims to bring to market an electric car with a highly automated stage in 2024. The project should first and foremost be a pioneer in a completely new way of working for the group and should show how will dramatically accelerate the development of new cars.
