According to Van Ranst, the grant can be introduced for all primary and secondary students. But the virologist clarifies that this extension only works if no extra camps or activities are organized during the autumn holidays and everyone complies with the measures. “But the decision rests with politicians. I can only recommend it, ”says Van Ranst.
