This Friday, Virginia legislators finally approved a law aimed at facilitating absentee voting in the state. The bill asks the government to pay in advance the shipping costs and provide mailboxes for votes under this modality.
The House of Delegates passed legislation that will allocate $ 2 million for prepaid mailing and will also establish a process for voters to have the ability to correct paperwork problems on improperly submitted ballots.

“The Senate passed the bill last week,” WRIC reported.
Governor Ralph Northam signed the bill after the approval of the House was obtained this Friday, as we remember that Northam had urged legislators to quickly approve additional funds for this vote, as the time for the general elections is running out.
