The thing that needs to be done when the wrong fuel is filled is draining the tank. “Yes, the first action that must be taken is to immediately empty or drain the fuel tank,” said Suparna.
Not only stopping at the step of draining the fuel tank, the driver must also take further action by checking the condition of the fuel filter and injectors. If the condition is not too severe, then it is enough to clean.
“But if it’s severe, there could be replacement parts such as the injector system, the oil filter inside, and so on. So it’s not enough to just drain the tank,” Suparna continued.
