A particularly shocking scene took place yesterday in New York. A young man on his scooter fired indiscriminately at pedestrians in Queens and Brooklyn. An 87-year-old man was fatally shot and 3 other people were seriously injured.
At a press conference, Deputy Chief of Police Joseph Kenny said the 25-year-old had been arrested. His motives are not yet known but it seems that he simply fired randomly at passers-by.
