The men who committed a brutal home invasion on the Sikkel in Nuland on Monday night are clearly visible on camera images. Those images were shown on Tuesday evening in Opsporing Verzocht. One resident was hit on the head with a gun and suffered a skull fracture.
The men pretended to be employees of the bank. They had called Monday to say that the couple living in the house may have been involved in a bank fraud case. For that reason, two bank employees would come by later in the day to take pictures of valuables.
Weapon to head
Monday evening around seven thirty they rang the doorbell at the house. A camera by the door captured this moment. The men are clearly visible in the images. After a while the men leave and the residents think that everything has been settled.
Shortly after midnight, however, the two returned. They broke into the house with great force. The resident was put to her head with a gun and threatened to shoot her. The man was hit hard on the head with the gun. He suffered a skull fracture. The robbers also sprayed a corrosive liquid in the victims’ faces.

One of the men is dark-skinned. He has a beard, glasses and probably dreadlocks. It is possible that this suspect himself was also injured because one of the victims hit him. The other man is also tinted.
