Vinicius’ goal celebrations made the police intervene

Vinicius Junior walked into the stands while celebrating his goal for Real Madrid. The police had to intervene to pull Vinicius back into the field.

Real Madrid host Celta Vigo at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in LaLiga, Monday (13/9/2021) early morning hrs. Carlo Ancelotti’s team was able to win 5-2.

Los Blancos had twice been left behind by their visitors through goals from Santi Mina and Franco Cervi. Karim Benzema then twice also equalized for Madrid.

Madrid was only able to turn ahead 3-2 in the 54th minute through Vinicius’ goal after completing Benzema’s assist. The Brazilian then celebrated the goal by entering the stands.

The crowd in the stands quickly hugged Vinicius to celebrate the goal together. The 21-year-old player was in the middle of the crowd.

Steward and several police officers had to intervene to get Vinicius out of the crowd. Vinicius’s action was rewarded with a yellow card.

Real Madrid then added two goals, namely through Eduardo Camavinga who appeared in the debut match. Then Benzema packed a hat-trick through the execution of a penalty.

This victory temporarily puts Real Madrid at the top of LaLiga with seven points after winning on goal difference from Valencia. Celta Vigo had to settle for 18th place with one point.
