L’insider Adrian Wojnarowski indeed announced that the Knicks wouldn’t keep the old Philadelphia Sixers interior. Barely arrived as part of the three-team deal that sent George Hill to Philly, he’s cut off.
The Knicks are planning to waive 7-footer Vincent Poirier, who arrived from Sixers in the three-team deal with Oklahoma City, sources tell ESPN.

Vincent Poirier, until now appearing with the Philadelphia Sixers, has been sent to Big Apple, announces Yann Ohnona of L’Equipe. He will find there, except trade before the 8 p.m. deadline, Frank Ntilikina, finally used in the rotation of Tom Thibodeau.
Poirier, who had been disappointed with his first NBA experience with the Boston Celtics, has played 10 games for the Sixers since the start of the season. His total playing time: 39 minutes for 8 points, 13 rebounds and 3 blocks.
