Mötley Crüe‘s vince Neil Reveals Stroke Recovery
Mötley Crüe frontman Vince Neil publicly revealed he suffered a stroke in December, detailing months of intensive physical therapy to regain his mobility. The singer, 62, shared the health challenge and his subsequent recovery journey, emphasizing the arduous process of relearning basic movements.
neil described a progression from being unable to walk without assistance – initially requiring help even to reach the bathroom – to utilizing a wheelchair, then a walker, and finally a cane. He is now walking unassisted, though he likened the recovery process to a “full-time job” to feel fully restored. While his voice remained unaffected, Neil explained the difficulty in reconnecting his brain to his legs, stating he is now approximately 95 percent back to his pre-stroke condition.
The revelation comes amidst a period of other challenges for the band. In February, Mötley Crüe issued a statement regarding a fatal plane crash involving Neil’s private jet; Neil was not on board, but his girlfriend and a co-pilot were injured. Additionally, Nikki Sixx recently explained the band’s absence from Black Sabbath’s farewell concert was due to unspecified “health issues within the band.” Neil’s disclosure provides further context to the recent health-related concerns surrounding the iconic rock group.
