The Métropole de Lyon and the city of Villeurbanne have announced that they are organizing a presentation and information meeting by videoconference on Tuesday March 30 from 6 p.m. on the redevelopment of the third section of Cours Émile-Zola, between rue Pierre-Baratin and rue Pierre-Baratin. Souvenir Français, but also on the Liberté-Faÿs project (Liberté, Faÿs and Égalité streets).
This Liberté-Faÿs urban partnership project will allow a better sharing of public space for the benefit of soft mobility and the development of greening. The objective is “to facilitate the movement of pedestrians and cyclists with, among other things, wider sidewalks, secure cycling facilities” and “to contribute to the beautification of the district and its refreshment with the planting of many plants” , notes the City of Villeurbanne.

This public meeting will be held in the presence of Béatrice Vessiller, vice-president of the Métropole de Lyon in charge of town planning and the living environment, Fabien Bagnon, vice-president of the Métropole de Lyon in charge of roads and mobility active, Agnès Thouvenot, first assistant to the city of Villeurbanne in charge of ecological transition, urban planning, housing and sustainable cities, and Pauline Schlosser, assistant to the city of Villeurbanne in charge of travel, mobility and parking.
