It will be held today, Friday 29 January, at 11, the inauguration of new department of Psychiatry of the Hospital “San Pio di Pietrelcina” of Villa D’Agri.
A new, cutting-edge health care area that responds to the growing needs (also in our territory) for attention and care related to Mental Health issues.
An important fact because it finally fits into a context of real strengthening of the Hospital of Villa D’Agri. The new ward will be able to accommodate about twice as many patients as the previous one. There will also be an important space dedicated to the treatment of these disorders that started in adolescence.
The President of the Regional Council Carmine Cicala, the Regional Councilor for Health Dr. Rocco Leone, the general director of the ASP Dr. Lorenzo Bochicchio, the general manager of the “San Carlo” hospital ing. Giuseppe Spera, the director of the “Stella Maris” Mario Barra Foundation and the Mayor of Marsicovetere Marco Zipparri.
Numerous mayors of the municipalities of Val D’Agri were invited to participate.
