Viewers take down new Max show Showcolade: ‘Low point NPO’ | Entertainment

entertainment">The show – presented by Edsilia Rombley who is still gaining some appreciation as a presenter – is about the art of chocolate making. The participants are divided into two teams, led by Richard Kemper and Remco Veldhuis, and have to guess from objects on a conveyor belt which is made of chocolate. A number of viewers don’t like the program. They call it ‘a sadness’, ‘a bizarre concept’ and it even makes someone ‘cry a bit’.

entertainment">Many think the program does not suit the public broadcaster at all. “Why is this on the NPO?”. And with some sarcasm: “Fortunately there have been cutbacks on Other Times, Free Sounds and Books. Now there is money left for new gems like Showcolade. ” Speaking of sarcasm: the program makes Sander Schimmelpenninck consider a membership on Ongehoord Nederland: “I zap past a program of the elderly broadcaster called Showcolade, spelled with disturbing English space, and I am now considering membership of Ongehoord Nederland.”

entertainment">Yet a few are quite content with the program. “What a lot of negative reactions. I thought it was fun for a while, just simple entertainment. ”
