Trainer Vietnam Park Hang Seo was disappointed after his team didn’t get a chance to eat meat pig During AFF Cup 2021 (2020) in Singapore so far.
The team nicknamed the Golden Star Warriors arrived in Singapore on Wednesday (1/12) after undergoing the third round of the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers.
Despite arriving early, Vietnam did not get what they wanted while in Singapore. In a press conference ahead of the start of the 2021 AFF Cup, Sunday (5/12), Park Hang Seo revealed the food constraints they got in the AFF Cup.
“Today I spoke with the players. In addition to being physically tired, mentally and psychologically the players are also getting tired. Having to live with limited travel, and eating and drinking is also problematic,” said Hang Seo, quoted from Tuoitre.
“The difficulties cannot be overcome. Now we can only think optimistically, think positively to continue the tournament,” said Hang Seo added.

One of Vietnam’s disappointments about food in the AFF Cup that the South Korean coach said was that it couldn’t eat pork.
“Eating becomes a problem if we have to eat the same menu. The teams have different religions and cultures and we have to respect that,” said Hang Seo.
“For example, Vietnam likes to eat pork, until today we all have to eat chicken. I think the organizers should be more flexible and arrange the food more precisely,” said Hang Seo continued.
Vietnam flew to Singapore two weeks after playing their sixth match in Group B in the third round of the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers in the Asian zone. In those six matches, Vietnam has always lost and conceded 12 goals.
