Vienna’s Liliputbahn derailed

” Shot down ” by minibus in the return gear.

Wien. An event that has probably been unique since the company was founded in 1928 shook the Vienna Liliputbahn in the Prater in Leopoldstadt on Friday shortly before 7 p.m. A minibus rammed a set in the return gear. You derailed. Nobody got hurt.

“Except for the shock for the driver of our train, nothing happened,” said a spokesman for the Liliputbahn on Saturday. The course of the accident sounded classic for railways. The driver of a multi-seat black minibus wanted to cross the route at a crossing of the small railway line in Vienna-Leopoldstadt, with the stop board present and the train apparently approaching. “The driver thundered into the train set in reverse,” said the spokesman for the Prater attraction. Nobody got hurt.
