VIDEO | Vela ‘charged’ the defender and closed the preseason with a goal at LAFC

Los Angeles FC’s preseason is over and the Mexican Carlos Vela, stood out with a goal in which even the defender practically hung himself on his back to try to prevent the forward from sending the ball to the back of the nets in a friendly against the New England Revolution.

Vela scored the second of three goals that LAFC tied with in their last preparation game and he did so by taking advantage of a play in which he appeared on the left side, drove the ball for a few meters and despite the lack of the defender, he tapped the ball to score.

The other goals of the Los Angeles team were the work of the Uruguayan striker, Diego Rossi at 14 minutes and Colombian Eddie Segura put the third in the front of New England.

LAFC will try this season to be one of the teams that command the classification again to find that ticket to the 2022 Champions League.
