The Orientibus, made available to schools by the Pays de la Loire Region, aims to help young people find their professional orientation.
All the pupils of 3rd were able to test, in turn, the various workshops offered.
One tool immediately catches the eye: the virtual reality. It allows young people to watch a film on the professional field of their choice in 360 °.
Cleanliness, fashion or fishing professions, the experience allows you to fully immerse yourself in a company.
“Digital tools that appeal to young people”
All around, there are also tablets for carrying out quizzes but also personality tests.
“These are digital tools that appeal to young people. You have to know how to adapt, ”emphasizes Christelle Mor Anglais, President of the Region, visiting the establishment.
The concept does indeed seem to please. “It allows us to discover a little more of a profession, to see what we can choose,” comments Tiago, a 3rd year student.
From Monday January 18, college students will be able to start their internship. “Out of 120 students, only fifteen could not find a company”, indicates Christophe Gonnier, director of the college.
Tiago, who would like to evolve in the world of motorcycle mechanics, will work at Picard Motorcycles at Sand.
