The subsidence of the sidewalk immediately caused a large gaping hole on the side of the highway.
Authorities reported that no one was injured in the incident, which occurred on Wednesday (19/8/2020) at midnight.

The incident took place outside a shopping center on Cuibai Street in Yibin, a city of about 5.5 million people, according to an official statement.
Rescuers have been dispatched there to look for casualties in the incident.
Luckily no one was found dead or injured.
