An interactive version of images taken by the Perseverance rover on Mars between April 15 and 26, 2021 was released by NASA. In the video, the camera system on the Mastcam-Z, installed in the “head” of the device, makes a 360-degree panorama of the region dubbed the Van Zyl Overlook.
Perseverance arrived on Mars on February 18 along with the Ingenuity helicopter, which has already made three flights across the planet as the rover searched for evidence that there was once life on Mars.
In the images released, it is possible to see where Ingenuity is or the crater of Jezero, the landing site of the spacecraft that took them there. Watch:
