Video: Millonarios-Tolima match suspended for assault on soccer player | THE UNIVERSAL

The video that has been broadcast on social networks shows how while Cataño warms up before the start of the game, the Deportes Tolima fan manages to quickly enter the field and hits Cataño on the head until he knocks him to the ground.

After the fact, the Millonarios players left the field in rejection of the violent act, after the evaluation with Dimayor, the match referee announced the suspension of the commitment.

Although the authorities stated that there were security guarantees for the game to take place, the capital team insisted that they did not.

The commitment was scheduled to be played at the Manuel Murillo Toro stadium, in Ibagué, for date four of the Betplay League 2023-1.
