CELAYA, Gto. (OEM-Informex).- With the support of Institute of Art and Culture of Celaya (INSMACC), celayenses artists commemorated the World Art Day Celaya 2022″, with a series of activities on the esplanade of the Morelos Parkwhich included musical auditions, narrative, story, photography exhibition, painting, live mural painting and crafts.
The celebration that has been taking place since 2012 by a group of artists headed by Miguel Hacha.

As of 9:00 a message was issued with this reason: “There are those who say that artists imagine worlds that do not exist, that they dream of things that no one else can, and that they do things in fiction that are not real.”
‘From where I see it, that’s not the only thing an artist should do. In today’s world, where a couple of months ago some of my mom’s friends were murdered, and a couple of weeks ago a friend of my sister’s, where when looking for a girl they find five more women dead, reported missing, in this state, the state with the highest number of femicides so far in 2022; here, where a good show is no longer enough to forget the present, in today’s world, no one, not even artists, can afford to just imagine, just dream, or just make fictions”.
“In the present it is not enough to dream, imagine and make fiction, in the present it is up to all of us to find meaning in what we do, we can no longer try to forget, today it is up to us to confront and make. So today, we, the artists of this city (so hurt), we do, today we go on stage, we bring our photos, paintings, and all our creations, not to forget and imagine something else, but to see reality face to face, see each other, share who we are, what we like and what we love”.
“After two years of distancing (to the extent that it has been) we are ready to see each other in the eyes again, with a face mask, but without masks and with a smile that can be seen even in our eyes, sharing, recognizing each other, talking to each other, and becoming accomplices with you in this world that we are no longer just going to imagine, but that we are going to make a reality, let’s celebrate this meeting that art fosters. Let’s celebrate World Art Day 2022 “.

On a scheduled basis, Lukma Academy, members of the Literary Workshop, Swissland Music Academies and Adimus, presented a book with Fermín Felipe, Oscar Damián, Cintyia Lucatero, Baudelio Camarillo and Raúl Alvarado presented readings.
The Nana Cuerápari Traditional Mexican Dance group was presented, there was narration with María José Bedolla, the Draco Dance Academy was presented, also Homero Jay, narration with Sara Elena Pérez López, Latin guitar with Elías García, Mario Alberto, the romantic voice of Celaya, Salsalaya, Trova, with Adrián García and concluded with a ritual of thanks to the arts with the INSMACC DHARRA Group.
