VIDEO ⟩ “Martin, you would be 46 today on Earth.” In honor of Freiman, his song, which has not been heard before, goes to the listeners

The music album “I am fine” will contain 12 previously unheard songs by the musician Mārtiņš Freimaņi. Mārtiņš created these songs in the nineties, when he studied at Aizpute secondary school. At that time, Freimanis performed them accompanied by the acoustic guitar with the members of the ensembles “Ilze” and “Trīsstūris”, founded during school.

The song arrangements were made by musicians Normunds Kalniņš, Roberts Dinters and Ieva Tālberga. They are performed by an ensemble created especially for this project: Normunds Kalniņš, Ieva Tālberga, Roberts Dinters, Zanda Štrausa, Raitis Eleris, Māris Zīlmanis, Kaspars Boroduško and Maija Kalniņa.

Maija Kalniņa dedicated a special post to Freiman on social networks. ” Well, Martin! You would have 46 years left on Earth today.

What numbers are there – in your sky and clouds – there is no clarity. But one thing is clear here. You sound!

Today, a song that you created when you were about 16 goes out into the world.

It’s interesting that in the upcoming album “I am fine” your “new” songs will actually be your oldest songs. Your start will sound.

Can there be a better gift for such a bright, talented person, full of beautiful contradictions and paradoxes?! There is no doubt – you can’t! Because time has tricked us so beautifully!”
