VIDEO ⟩ “Behind the curtain”: Russian propaganda urges NATO to be declared a terrorist organization – Abroad – News – TVNET

Russian state-owned energy giant Gazprom resumed gas flow through Nord Stream 1 last week after a 10-day maintenance outage, but only at 40% of the pipeline’s capacity. Russia said it was forced to cut power because of delays in returning a turbine that had been sent to Canada for maintenance. “Gazprom” announced at the end of July 25 that it will continue to limit gas flows by another 50% from July 27 to 33 million cubic meters per day, because according to the instructions of the industry supervisor, the operation of the gas turbine at the compressor station had to be stopped.

Kremlin representative Dmitry Peskov announced on July 26 that sanctions against Russia for its unprovoked invasion of Ukraine have hampered work on “Nord Stream 1”, which is the main gas supply artery for the European Union. On the other hand, on July 25, the German energy regulator reiterated Berlin’s position that reductions are not necessary due to technical problems.

On July 25, Ukrainian President Zelensky urged Europe to take revenge on Russia’s “gas war” by strengthening sanctions against Moscow. “Today we heard a new gas threat to Europe,” Zelensky said in his evening video address on July 25. “This is an open gas war that Russia is waging against a united Europe.”

The fact that Russia uses gas supplies as a weapon of political influence was clearly demonstrated by Solovyov, who, contrary to the official position that “Gazprom” fulfills all its contractual obligations, but their fulfillment is completely hindered by the West itself, speaking of Germany, declared: “I wish you, not gas.”

The slanderous attacks of the propagandists are mostly aimed at the USA and Germany, which is reminded of its Nazi past and accused of continuing to support the “Nazis” today. Therefore, it is the Germans, in whose economy the industry that uses natural gas plays a huge role, who have become the target of the sarcastic messages of the Kremlin’s propaganda. The collapse of the German economy is predicted, for which there is no rational basis.
