In Imanta, Akāciju Street, three drunk men decided to walk down the street. One of the men had a birthday that day, so they decided to do something unusual – steal a turkey from a local amusement park.

The men broke the yard, entered the park and carried away the bird. Later, the men with the turkey went by train to Bulduri.

The crime was spotted in time thanks to eyewitnesses. He even managed to film men’s criminal activities. The police acted promptly and detained the two men, who had seen the police and released the stolen turkey. The bird was later successfully found and transported back to the amusement park.

The five-kilogram bird does not feel well after the incident, because it has been tortured by men. The turkey has alcohol poured on its beak, so at the moment the bird is behaving apathetically, because there is a suspicion of poisoning. The turkey was later examined by a veterinarian.

Three hooligans will be brought to justice, police said. Men have previously been convicted of hooliganism.
