Last Friday it appeared that Van der Ree in chat conversations would have asked for nude photos and sent nude photos to girls who were then 13, 14 and 15 years old. In RTL Boulevard, two of them say that they were fans of him at the time and that he approached them via social media.
Video chat
One of them anonymously says that she came into contact with Van der Ree after he had posted a comment under her Instagram post. That was when she was 13 or 14 years old and he was 23.

The two then video chat via Skype. That contact soon became sexually charged. “I was always asked if I wanted to take off my clothes. If I wanted to take off my shirt and if I wanted to sit on my breasts. He then pulled himself off, and I felt so bad uncomfortable with. “
Nude photos
“At some point he starts sending nude photos and says: I want something in return,” she continues. “Then you feel pretty forced to do that.” “Very manipulative,” she calls him. “He makes you feel as if you owe it to him.”

Another alleged victim, Laiza, came into contact with Van der Ree when she received a DM from him on Twitter. She was then 14, he in his twenties. They also went video chatting. “At one point he asked me on Skype during a video chat if I wanted to take off my clothes,” she says. “He took off his clothes and showed his genitals.”
Mental damage
He also sent her pictures of his genitals. “With his body there, so you also saw his tattoos. You can clearly see that it is him.”

The two victims are now adults and say they still experience problems every day from their far-reaching contact. “It did quite a bit of mental damage,” says the woman who wants to remain anonymous. “I started to feel pretty dirty in my own body. I feel abused.”
“Stupid mistakes”
Van der Ree has confirmed to have sent sexually motivated chats and says he regrets it. He speaks in a personal statement of “stupid mistakes.” BNNVARA, where he presented a radio and television program, has canceled the collaboration with Van der Ree. Van der Ree will also no longer be seen at RTL.
