JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – In the midst of controversy over the presence of the leader of the Islamic Defenders Front (REIT) Rizieq Shihab, came up with the idea of holding a meeting with a number of other Islamic organizations.
Vice President Ma’ruf Amin welcomed the idea of a meeting with mass organization leaders REIT said the Spokesman Vice President, Masduki Baidlowi, Friday (20/11/2020).
“Against the idea of the meeting Vice President no problem. Vice President welcome, meaning that is something that can be done as long as it brings goodness to the nation and state, “said Masduki.

Masduki also said that there were Islamic social organizations (mass organizations) that had offered to organize the meeting.
“There have been (mass organizations) that have met, but I can’t tell you more than that,” he said.
Although, this meeting will create political perceptions in the community and it will not be avoided, Masduki said that this does not need to be a polemic as long as it is good.
