Arminia Bielefeld secured himself before the last round for the championship of the 2nd Bundesliga and a direct promotion to the highest level of the competition. In the last round the leader confirmed high class and defeated FC Heidenheim 3: 0.
VfB Stuttgart played for confirmation of promotion from the second place, although only a disaster could make Die Schwaben take a lower place. The black scenario did not work, although the team from Stuttgart with Marcin Kamiński lost in the defeat lost 1: 3.
