Venezuela will not receive AstraZeneca vaccine through Covax – Latin America

Venezuelan Vice President Delsi Rodriguez has said the country will not accept the AstraZeneca vaccine through the international Covax program. Rodriguez said authorities would choose what preparation to receive through the program.

Several European countries have temporarily suspended immunizations with AstraZeneca due to fears of side effects, and it was later declared safe by the European Medicines Agency.
