September begins exceeding the barrier of a thousand cases of covid-19, when 1,028 new infections were confirmed on Tuesday 1-S.
A total of 904 cases of community transmission and 124 “imported” were detected in the last 24 hours to bring the total number to 47,756, of which 39,027 have been recovered, reported, through tweets, Vice President Delsy Rodríguez.
The Zulia region reported 70 new cases. The list of entities with the most contagions is still headed by the Capital District, where they added 193 on this day.
Of the 124 “imported” he broke down that 123 of the infections are from Colombia and the rest from Brazil.
Rodríguez also said that there were five deaths, so the number of fatalities reaches 391. The deaths of this 1-S are about a man and a woman, both 46 years old, from the Apure state; a 58-year-old man from the Capital District, an 88-year-old woman in Falcón and a 75-year-old man who lived in Sucre.
He specified that to date there are 8,338 active cases in the country, of which it was known that 1,652 are in hospitals, 6,495 in CDI and 191 in private clinics.
Regarding the cases of community transmission, he explained that they focused on:
Capital district: 193 new cases in the 22 capital city parishes, concentrating the highest number of cases in Sucre in Catia with 28), El Valle with 19 and La Vega with 18.

Aragua: 56 new cases.
