Up to six velutina wasp nests have been removed in different areas of Oleiros, in the last hours.

The operation has been carried out with the collaboration of the A Coruña firefighting teams who have used a truck with a self-scale over twenty meters high to carry out the work. The nests were empty due to the low temperatures and the storms registered during these last days. In the municipality of Oleiros, in the last year 600 nests of this type of wasp have been removed.
