The Dutch supermarket Coop reports that pork cutlets were accidentally sold as vegetable cutlets due to a supplier error. According to the supermarket, 220 pork cutlets ended up in the packaging of vegetable cutlets. The Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority also reports the schnitzels.

It concerns the Coop Schnitzel XXL Vegetable 500 grams, with the best before dates 15 and 16 January 2022. About sixty pork cutlets have been sold in this packaging. These products are therefore not vegetarian, emphasizes Coop. The cutlets can be returned to the store.
