To avoid disease and accelerate the body’s metabolic processes, humans need to food healthy with balanced nutrition. Instead of being confused about what to eat every day, it is better to follow the concept of 4 healthy 5 perfect.
This concept has been campaigned by the Indonesian government since 1955. Reporting from halodoc, this concept includes staple foods, side dishes, vegetables and fruits which are enhanced with milk. This nutritional concept emphasizes the importance of four food groups, namely: carbohydrates for energy, fat as energy reserves, protein as a builder of body tissue, vegetables and fruit as a source of vitamins and minerals for maintenance.

  • Basic foods with carbohydrates that are a source of energy for the body. This tree food also tends to satiate. Examples of foods that contain carbohydrates are rice, bread, corn, and sago.

  • Side dishes with protein content that can build and repair various tissues in the body. Some foods that can be used as side dishes are chicken eggs, fish meat, tempeh, and tofu.

  • Fresh fruit contains a lot vitamin needed by the body and accelerate metabolic activities. Example: oranges contain Vitamin B6 and C, guava contains Vitamin C, papaya contains Vitamins A and C, and bananas contain Vitamins B6, B5, B9, B2, and C.
  • Vegetables contain vitamins and minerals that keep the body from being attacked by various diseases. Examples: broccoli which contains minerals and Vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, C, D, E, as well as K. In addition, there are also carrots that contain potassium which works to strengthen muscles and control blood pressure and Vitamin A , B6, and K1.

  • Milk contains fat which functions as an energy reserve and is able to keep the body temperature warm and protect the body’s organs from various impacts. In addition, milk also contains protein and calcium which strengthen bones.
