For those who are familiar with their creations, games made by Vanillaware always have a unique identity, especially from a visual standpoint. Starting from an action RPG game at the beginning, the pinnacle of their work emerged via a visual novel product – 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim which succeeded in concocting an almost perfect sci-fi story full of twists from various angles. The various praises that also succeeded in stealing the hearts of many gamers who gave him this opportunity naturally made anticipation for the next project stronger. The good news? It’s almost done.
Talking to the Nintenderos website, the president of Vanillaware – George Kamitani finally talked about the next project. The project that they teased in 2019 through a super short teaser showing a fantasy setting, Kamitani admits, is almost complete. Interesting again? He called this project Vanillaware’s biggest project so far. Kamitani also mentioned that he is not the director for this title and is currently working on another game that still needs a few more years to complete.
Vanillaware itself still hasn’t shared about the title that will be carried by the game which also, unfortunately, hasn’t shown the gameplay yet. How about you? Intrigued by this series?
