Their relationship was first a friendship, then turned into love in 2011. The couple then made their first official appearance in 2012, at the premiere of Vanessa’s film, Journey to the Center of the Earth 2: The Mysterious Island.

Nine years later, when Vanessa is the queen of Christmas movies on Netflix and that Austin is about to play Elvis Presley, the fans have noticed something disturbing.
The duo used to post adorable pictures of couples, but the last one dates back to Halloween 2019. Vanessa had published a picture of her with Austin and their dog Darla saying: “Happy Halloween, from my family to yours. ”
As for Austin, the last publication dates from the first of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, in which he played the role of one of Charles Manson’s disciples.
A source close to the couple confirmed to the magazine Us Weekly that they had indeed separated after 9 years of living together.
Despite this news, Vanessa seems to be doing well. She was spotted at a Los Angeles Lakers basketball game.
She also appears to have obtained custody of Darla, as she shared a video of the small dog sunbathing.
