After presenting its Valorant Tactical FPS – formerly Project A – more in depth last week, Riot Games now highlights the flamboyant Phoenix, one of the playable characters, through a short video posted on Twitter.

The opportunity to see in action the skills of this British agent, capable of handling the flames by snapping his fingers. In Valuing, each agent has four abilities: a “signature” ability, one that is charged over the course of eliminations made, and two others that must be purchased at the start of the round. Here are those of Phoenix:

• Hot Hands: Throws a fireball that explodes after a short delay or on impact on the ground. The fire produced attacks the enemies and heals you.
• Blaze: Summons a wall of fire that limits the visibility of enemies and does damage to those who cross it. You can twist the wall by invoking it with the left click.
• Curveball (signature ability): Summons an incandescent glow that explodes after a short delay, releasing a bright light that temporarily blinds those who look at it. A left click launches it to the left, a right click launches it to the right.
• Run it back (ultimate ability): This spell records your current location. If you die within a few seconds of being summoned, you will rise from the ashes at the position previously indicated.

For now, Riot Games has unveiled eight characters, which you can discover in detail in this article. Valorant will be released in free-to-play on PC in the summer of 2020.
