Valorant: Reyna, the 11th agent announced

End of suspense, finally on one of the three points expected at least. The 11th agent of Valorant, Reyna, was finally announced on May 30. The official release being on June 2, there is not much time left to discover the new game mode and the new map, Ascent.

Players were awaiting news by June 2 and the official release of Valorant. They begin this May 30 with the official announcement of Reyna, the 11th agent who will be available in a few days.
Teased in many ways, it had appeared for a few days now that the new agent would be a member of the female gender. We could easily do a merger with Sombra or Moira by Overwatch, especially for the spell kit of the first and the general appearance of the second. Here is the first video and the first seconds of gameplay of the concerned:
Even if one cannot be absolutely sure of the veracity of all that follows, its capacities seem to be the following:
- A flash grenade (C)
- Invisibility after a kill? (E)
- Personal care (after killing opponents)? (Q)
In the first seconds of the video, we see her kill Cypher and then say “Give me your heart”. The E is used, but it is complicated to say the exact effect of the ability (invisibility after a cast for a few moments?). We also see many bars that we are not used to seeing: an “Empress”, as well as a “Combat Stim”, then an “Overhealed”. Reyna’s last sentence from the video is: “They’re all dead, but I’m still hungry.” It really seems that we are dealing with a character who feeds on the vital energy of his opponents in one way or another.

A priori, the ulti does not seem to be used during the video, and we will know more soon (a report with the “Empress” bar?). It is also important to note that we see appear an Overheal bar at some point, which could give Reyna a sort of extra shield if she heals herself when she is already at her maximum. The flash grenade should be a very useful tool for this new character who will be able to blind and then regain life by killing the opponents thus managed. Finally, the video takes place on a new map, which we could already assimilate to Ascent, since the name has already been communicated by Riot Games (see details below).

Several days ago, a mysterious flaw seemed to indicate the arrival of Ascent. This has more or less been confirmed by a video posted on the Brazilian account of the game.
