For the second time in 2021, Valle del Cauca did not report deaths from coronavirus in the same day, according to information from the Ministry of Health. The progress of the vaccination plan continues to give results.
The portfolio reported on Tuesday 952 new cases of covid in the country and 24 deceased people, of which 5 correspond to records from previous days. For this last report, 1,394 recovered were also presented.
125 cases were reported in the Valley, being the second region with the most reported infections, above Bogotá (118) and Barranquilla (102) and below Antioquia (313).

In total, the country registers 4,983,527 confirmed infections for the disease, of which 4,828,195 have recovered and 126,910 have died. Currently there are 12,039 active cases with the virus in Colombia.
For this Tuesday’s report, 24,810 samples were processed, of which 15,867 were PCR and 8,943 were antigens.
