Valdis Indrishonoks is known in Latvian music as a pop-rock performer whose lyrics contain messages about the meaning of life, faith and the spiritual world. The previous album was released sixteen years ago – it’s called “Klusas svarna ar Tevi” (2006), but even before that “Why do I own so much” (1999), “Tikai one path” (2001), “I’m your child” ( 2004), and “Will you come” (2006).

“The main message of the new music album is the realization that it is not necessary to approach the Creator with various rituals or the fulfillment of “correct” religious rules, because His presence and love are available to all of us… right here. We just have to believe it and take a step towards Him,” as follows Valdis Indrishonoks comments on the new collection of songs “Tepat”.

The former singer and music producer of the group “PeR” Pēteris Upelnieks, as well as the singer and composer Anete Kozlovska, will also perform at the beginning of the album presentation concert. Both have participated in the creation of the new album together with many other musicians, such as bassist Oskars Sprogis, drummers Miķeli Vīti and Arti Oruba, guitarists Jāni Kalniņu and Roberta Dinter, keyboardist and composer Mārci Jukumsons-Jukumniek, violinist Ilzi Gagaini, as well as vocalists Linda Naudiņu, Darta Sedlenieci and Katrīna Anna Pļavnieci.

The collection “Tepat” includes 12 songs, some of which have been created over several years. Although none of the compositions can be called the main song of the album, the author especially singles out “Mana rota”, which is the latest of the songs he wrote, and in which the musician expresses the essence of his faith and conviction.

The artistic design of the new collection of songs was created by the artist Lauma Palmbacha, who daily runs the creative education center “Rasas pares” and is an active participant in various creative projects. “Tepat” songbook and disc will be like a separate work of art, where modern creativity is combined with the spiritual message expressed in the compositions.

The new song collection “Tepat” by Valdas Indrishonoks will be available for purchase both in person on the evening of the album presentation on June 6, and also later, in music and book stores and on websites.
