A second round which promises to be very close for the municipal election in Sarcelles (Val-d’Oise). Outgoing mayor Patrick Haddad is ahead of François-Xavier Valentin by 173 votes.

Only 173 voices separate Patrick Haddad (outgoing socialist mayor) and François-Xavier Valentin (Miscellaneous left) at the premiere of themunicipal election at Sarcelles (Val-d´Oise), Sunday March 15, 2020.
The first won 38.99% of the vote, the second 36.75%.
It looks very tight
The second round promises to be very close.
François-Xavier Valentin can still count on the support of François Pupponi, ex-mayor Ps, today various left. The former right hand of Dominique Strauss-Kahn should activate his networks to hope to tip the scales in favor of his foal.
The other lists are far behind: farouk Zaoui trustees 9.44% of the votes, Jocelyn Assor 7.54% and Mourad Chikaoui 7.25%. Note that the abstention was very strong in this city in the east of the department. Indeed, it climbed to 70.47%.
Of the approximately 27,426 Sarcellois voters, only 7,729 expressed their views.
