Vaikule threatens to be banned from entering Russia – Celebrities

After Vaikule appeared in front of the audience with the Ukrainian flag during a concert in Lithuania, they want to impose the harshest punishment on her – a ban on entering Russia. Kuznetsov believes that the star deserves to be banned from entering the country, because in this way she will no longer be able to earn from the Russians, according to the RIA Novosti publication.

It has already been reported that Vaikule performed in the Lithuanian resort town of Palanga on July 31, where together with musician Jānis Stībeli, he brought the Ukrainian flag on stage, expressing support for Ukraine and its people.

With this gesture, the artist expressed a specific opinion on which side she stood in this brutal war.

In the first days of the war in February of this year, Vaikule published an emotional video on her Instagram, in which she said: “Today I called my musician, who is in Kiev. In a dark room, in a bomb shelter, there are children with him. I offer any kind of help: just tell me what can do and I will. He told me, “Laima, just smile. May it remain in my memory.” No to war! No to death! Stop, I beg you!”

In the published video, she did not directly condemn Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. This left many of her fans with unanswered questions. At the July 31 concert, she answered all those who had doubts about her.

Currently, artists such as Svetlana Loboda, Max Barskikh, Ivan Dorn, Nadezhda Dorofeeva, Dmitry Monatik and others are on the list of stars banned from entering Russia.

Kuznetsov works in the investigative group of anti-Russian activities in the Russian State Duma. The list includes TV presenter Ivan Urgant, Alexander Vasiliev, director Alexander Molochnikov, singer Svetlana Loboda, singer Ivan Dorn, group Bi-2 and others.
