Assis Department of Health Brings Vaccinations Directly to Education Employees

ASSIS, BRAZIL – the City of Assis, through its Municipal Health Department (SMS), is proactively bolstering public health by bringing vaccination services directly to municipal employees. on Monday, November 13th, the initiative focused on staff at the Municipal Department of Education (SME), allowing educators and personnel to conveniently update their vaccination records during the workday.
This program underscores the city governance’s commitment to preventative healthcare and the well-being of its workforce, removing logistical barriers to immunization. The on-site clinics provide easy access to essential vaccines, promoting both individual protection and a healthier work surroundings.
Vaccines offered
Health agents administered a range of vital vaccinations, including:
- Influenza (Flu)
- Yellow Fever
- Adult Double (dT – Diphtheria and Tetanus)
- Hepatitis B
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella)
- COVID-19
The vaccination drive was expertly managed by Health Agents Danielle fermino, Ana Júlia P. Conceição, and Débora da Silva, who ensured a safe and comfortable experience for all participants.
