Vaccination champions in the Czech Republic: See where they have distributed the most doses of vaccines so far

More than eight hundred thousand Czechs received at least the first dose of coronavirus vaccine by Tuesday morning. Over three hundred thousand of them have already completed the vaccination – including the second dose.

Although hospitals and doctors last Thursday reported a record number of more than 50,000 vaccinated in one day, the Czech Republic still fails to catch up with neighboring countries, or at least reach the European Union average.

From the available data, it is also possible to find out vaccination “champions” in individual regions – ie hospitals and practitioners who distributed the most doses.

For the time being, the University Hospital Brno leads among the large facilities, followed by the Prague Central Military Hospital and the Ostrava University Hospital, which has recently moved Prague’s Bulovka from the bronze bar.

The two practitioners then approached the limit of two thousand doses. Doctor Šárka Mostýnová from the Moravian-Silesian Region and Radoslav Svoboda, who has several surgeries in the Pardubice Region.
