Citizens vaccinated against coronavirus who have developed immunity will be able to shop without having to take a COVID-19 test and travel without quarantine. This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Health of Germany Jens Spahn in an interview with “Bild am Sontag”, quoted by BGNES.

“Those who have received the vaccine will be able to shop or go to beauty and hairdressing salons without tests. Also, according to the Roert Koch Institute, they will no longer need to comply with quarantine,” Span said.

According to him, the final decision will be made after the passage of the third wave of coronavirus in Germany.

The head of the Ministry of Health referred to a study by the Robert Koch Institute, according to which on the 15th day after the end of vaccination people are less contagious than those who have a negative test for COVID-19 and have no symptoms of the disease.

Germany is currently under quarantine, but not as severe as in winter. Schools and kindergartens, hairdressers, beauty salons, flower shops and books are open. Without tests, you can basically only visit supermarkets.

The increase in the number of those infected decreased in January and February, but since March the rates have started to increase exponentially again. Experts attribute this to the spread of a more infectious strain. It was supposed that from March 22 the street terraces of restaurants, cinemas and theaters will be able to resume their work, but these plans are still being postponed. The restrictive measures have been extended until April 18 and are likely to be strengthened.

At least one part of the vaccine in Germany is received by 12% of the population – just over 10 million people. 4.3 million have been fully vaccinated.
