UZ showed the longest train route in Ukraine

The train will run through 12 regions

The train will pass through such large cities as Zaporozhye, Dnipro, Belaya Tserkov, Lvov, Ivano-Frankovsk, the company said.

Ukrzaliznytsia launches train No. 5/6 Mariupol-Rakhiv, which will run through 12 regions of Ukraine. This was announced on Tuesday, November 23, by the press service of UZ on Facebook.

As indicated, the record-breaking train will hit the road for the first time on December 12 this year.

“This is the longest route Ukrzaliznytsia: its total length is 1806 km. <...> The train route actually covers the whole country – it passes through Zaporozhye, Dnieper, Belaya Tserkov, Lvov, Ivano-Frankovsk, unites east and west, “the message says.

Note that the train will be on the way for 21 hours, and not 29, as it was in the alternative route.

It was previously reported that Ukrzaliznytsia opened ticket sales all trains have a new timetable, which will take effect from 12 December.
