UTRECHT – Two Utrecht brothers, Sens and Imme Gerritsen, are the new skippers of the Kameleon. The brothers will play the famous Frisian twins Hielke and Sietse Klinkhamer in a new Kameleon film.
The books of the Kameleon are extremely popular, in total more than 16 million copies were sold. The first films also attracted many visitors: in 2003 750,000 people bought a ticket for the film and in 2005 450,000 people saw the sequel.
So now there is a new film, the recordings will start tomorrow. In the new film, the twins have a hard time when it is decided that the Chameleon should be chained. The brothers’ boat runs on diesel, which is now prohibited.
