KANSAS CITY (June 18, 2025) – In a major boost for the Kansas City Current, three of its standout players-Michelle Cooper, Claire Hutton, and Izzy Rodriguez-have been named to the united States Women’s National Team (USWNT) roster for a series of international friendlies this month. U.S. Soccer revealed the 25-player squad Wednesday, as the team continues preparations for the 2026 Concacaf World Cup qualifying matches.
USWNT Roster Update
Cooper and Hutton, who previously attended the Futures Camp earlier this year, received their initial senior national team call-ups in February for the 2025 SheBelieves Cup presented by Visa. They have since participated in two additional USWNT training camps. This call-up marks a career milestone for Rodriguez, as it is her first time being selected for the USWNT.
