The soccer president attended a press conference on Friday afternoon. There, Klaveness and NFF Secretary General Karl-Petter Løken briefed on his trip to Qatar.

There have been several controversies since the World Cup kicked off on November 18, the most controversial being FIFA’s rejection of OneLove’s captaincy. A total of seven World Cup nations wanted to wear the rainbow-colored captain’s armband during the World Cup.
The marking conflicts with International Football Association (FIFA) regulations, meaning players risked being punished with yellow cards and suspensions. So far, no country has challenged FIFA.
The German Football Association has announced that it will review the case at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
FIFA President Gianni Infantino also made headlines during his press conference, where he said “he feels like a homosexual and a migrant worker”.
Norway and Denmark are among the countries that do not support Infantino’s re-election as FIFA president. The NFF worked to find a rival candidate, without success.
– The values of the NFF must be safe, inclusive and courageous. That’s what Infantino was elected to in his time. The rhetoric has recently changed. We are very concerned about this, Løken said at the press conference.
