UPresident Donald Trump has shared a video on Twitter in which one of his followers uses a slogan of white racists. The recording posted by Trump on Sunday showed one of his supporters in Florida, who repeatedly calls out “White Power” when he encounters opponents of the president, stretching his fist in the air. After violent criticism on social networks, Trump deleted his tweet again.

The video was shown on Trump’s Twitter account for over three hours, with the President’s comment: “Thanks to the super-residents of the ‘Villages'”. The “Villages” are a community in northern Florida for over 55 year olds, in which around 115,000 people live.

The White House also commented on the criticism of the video: “President Trump is a big fan of the Villages,” said spokesman Judd Deere. Trump did not hear the message in the video. “What he saw was the incredible enthusiasm of his followers,” Deere said. The slogan “White Power” is used in the neo-Nazi scene.
