Usa, Rochester: shooting at an illegal party. Two boys died, at least 16 injured

NEW YORK – At least 16 people were involved in a shooting at an illegal party in Rochester, a residential area in northeastern New York State. The party was in the garden of a house. It is not clear why or how many have started shooting, the victims are two, a boy and a girl (between 18 and 22, but the age has not been confirmed).

The incident began just before half past midnight. Police have been called near Goodman Street and Pennsylvania Avenue and are questioning the neighbors but have not given further details. “The party was illegal, we didn’t know anything about it until we were called by 911. When we got there, it was chaos, hundreds of people gathered outside.”

No arrests have been made so far.

The chief of police Mark Simmons said interviewed on the spot (VIDEO ON FB) that the officers found many injured: “There was alcohol, too many people, violence broke out,” he said.

Relatives of those killed or injured rushed to the scene and then to nearby hospitals. “Families around me cry and console each other,” the reporter said Bno, Tyler Brown.
