IIn the US state of California, a kidnapped 14-year-old was rescued by the police after calling for help via the Snapchat online service. The 14-year-old alarmed her friends via the online service on Tuesday, the police in the city of San José said on Friday. According to the police, the girl herself did not know where she was. However, the friends used the app to locate the girl, who is said to have been sexually abused, and to inform the police.

The 14-year-old drugged the suspect

A 55-year-old suspect had met and administered drugs to the 14-year-old before the kidnapping, according to police. The 55-year-old then called in two more suspects. Together they dragged the victim into a vehicle where she was allegedly raped by the 55-year-old. Then they drove to the motel. There, the 14-year-old was abused again.
